    Meet Owen Hannay, Marketing Guru and Digital Pioneer. The year was 1995 and the advertising world was about to be turned on its head by this thing called the internet. Owen charged full tilt into the fray, trying to find ways to blend this new technology with proven, traditional marketing strategies and thinking. The result was Slingshot, the advertising agency Owen founded and continues as CEO. And along the way, he achieved a lot of firsts. The first HTML banner ever placed on the Internet. The first updatable Internet banner ad. Creation of Digitally Informed Planning, Slingshot’s digitally-enabled strategic planning process that mines vast amounts of organic information about companies, their consumers and their competitors, and then cost-efficiently tests the strategies in a real media consumption environment. A Dallas native, Owen earned his undergraduate degree from University of Virginia and his MBA from SMU.

    Four-decade ad veteran. Award-winning author. Listed in the inaugural edition of Who’s Who In Advertising. Paul’s work has been recognized locally, regionally and nationally. His book, Underdog Advertising®, was winner of Best Books 2006 National Book Awards in the “Business: Marketing & Advertising” category. CIRCA 46 isn’t the first advertising agency Paul has managed, as he was president of Flowers & Partners Marketing Communications for 23 years. He is a Business Leadership Center instructor at SMU Cox School of Business, regularly lectures for University of Dallas Graduate School of Management, and has conducted numerous presentations and workshops for business owners and operators throughout Texas. And when it comes to understanding the seniors market, Paul not only has life experience, he is certified by The Society of Certified Senior Advisors and has served as judge for the National Mature Media Awards.
